Classrooms Terms and Conditions

Facility. “Facility” shall collectively mean the Compassion Center classrooms, hallways, other meeting rooms, restrooms and all land adjoining the same.

Decorations.
All set up and decoration must be approved by a Compassion Center agent and/or staff member.
Pasting, taping or otherwise attaching any items to walls, floors or furniture is not permitted. Licensee may use special tape that does not damage walls with the express permission of a Compassion Center agent and/or staff member.
Licensee may NOT use any rice, glitter, sand, confetti, processed snow or any other substances that take excessive cleaning to restore the room to its original condition.
Fog machines and candles are not permitted.
Clean Up (Interior and Exterior).
Licensee must clean, pick up trash and remove all decorations, from both the interior and exterior, and return the Facility to its customary state of cleanliness.
Licensee must bag all trash and remove it from both the interior and exterior, including the parking lot, of the Facility. Dumpsters are available on the property.
Based upon the Compassion Center agent’s sole observation, discretion and opinion of the Facility’s state of cleanliness, Licensee may be assessed the $200.00 Cleaning Fee.
Maximum Capacity. 26 persons per classroom.
Fire and Safety. Licensees will abide by all fire and safety requirements, including, but not limited to, familiarizing its invitees with the location of all exits and fire extinguishers and instructing its invitees as to the location of all fire exits and the Facility evacuation plan.
Alcohol. Alcohol consumption or distribution, or drug usage is STRICTLY prohibited in or around the Facility.
Smoking. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the Facility. Licensee and their guests can only smoke in the designated smoking area.
No Storage. Licensee may NOT store items in the Facility without express permission of a Compassion Center agent and/or staff member.
Eviction and Removal. The Compassion Center may immediately contact law enforcement and remove and evict Licensee, and Licensee’s guests and invitees, if any Compassion Center agent and/or staff member believes Licensee, and or its guests and invitees, are engaging in inappropriate and/or illegal activity. Licensee agrees to quickly, peaceably and promptly leave the Facility upon the direction of any Compassion Center agent and/or staff member.
Inappropriate Activities. The Compassion Center exists to uphold and operate under Godly and Christlike principals and ideals. Activities that do not uphold these standards are expressly prohibited.
Other Events. The Compassion Center may rent other rooms, and schedule other events, in other parts of the facility during the time of License.
Noise. Licensee agrees to keep the noise generated by its use of Facility at a reasonable level as not to disturb other persons using and working in the facility. “Noise” shall include the sound of music, television, singing, talking, etc. Licensee further agrees to follow the directions of any Compassion Center agent to turn the volume down.
Success. Licensee acknowledges that the success of their event is their sole responsibility. The Compassion Center is only responsible for providing the venue and amenities.
Security. Licensee acknowledges that the Premises are a limited access facility containing highly confidential information and important property that must be protected by everyone utilizing said facility. Licensee shall protect the Premises from unauthorized use and entry. Licensee shall keep all keys/fobs assigned to it secure. Licensee may NOT give or loan its key/fob to any third party without the consent of the Compassion Center agent and/or staff member. Licensee may NOT copy or duplicate any key/fob assigned to it. Any loss or theft of a key/fob shall be IMMEDIATELY reported to the Compassion Center. Licensee will pay and reimburse the Compassion Center for all costs and expenses associated with re-keying the entire Premises. Licensee will use the key fob, close and lock all doors upon entry and exit. Licensee must IMMEDIATELY report any and all illegal and/or suspicious activity to the police and the Compassion Center agent and/or staff member.
Security Cameras. The Compassion Center maintains 24-hour security cameras monitoring of the interior and exterior of the premises.
Facility Protection, Preservation, Repair, Damages and Clean Up. Licensee shall protect, preserve and maintain Facility in its customary state of cleanliness and repair. Licensee will be responsible for any and all damages it, and its invitees, employees and/or agents, cause to the Facility and will pay, reimburse and indemnify the Compassion Center for the same. Licensee shall NOT make ANY improvements, alterations or repairs to the Facility.
Licensee Liability, Indemnification and Hold Harmless. Licensee indemnifies and holds harmless the Compassion Center and Crosspoint City Church, and all of their members, officers, employees and agents, from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses and costs or expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, due to: liability to a third party, or parties, for any loss due to bodily injury (including death), personal injury and property damages arising out of or resulting from Licensee’s, or their invitees’ use of the Facility; any act or omission on the part of Licensee, its guests, invitees, agents, volunteers, employees working, utilizing or enjoying the Facility; any breach of this Agreement by the Licensee; or the application or violation of any pertinent Federal, State or local law, rule or regulation. This indemnification extends to Licensee’s successors and assigns and survives the termination of this Agreement.
Insurance. If possible, Licensee agrees to obtain and maintain proper insurance coverage to protect itself and the Compassion Center.
